Bicycling Confidence and Educational Ride

Learn  "Smart Cycling" from  League of American Bicyclist certified instructors Gwen Froh and Tyler Randazzo.   Starting with a one hour information session, this class aims to increase your confidence riding on your own and in a group and teach you how to be a proactive cyclist on the roads.  Learn your rights as a  cyclist according to the California  Vehicle Code.    Then,  they will review some skills in the parking lot, followed by a short, less than 7 miles, flat, educational group ride around San Rafael, in traffic, to implement your new knowledge, including hazard mitigation and avoidance,  lane positioning and visibility.
