ULKHC--Ultra Low Key Hill Climb Series #5: Mount Tam

(Weekly Hill climbs, 9 in the series.  9 different hills in the Bay Area for eyeballs out effort...or not.  Mt. Tam Loop is 37 miles/+4,211'/very hilly.  Neutral ride out together from the start location to the base of the climb.

Meet: 8:20AM/Wheels roll about 8:30AM

Hill Climb of the Day: Alpine Dam to Tam Summit.  Significant amounts of climbing.  Alpine Dam + 7 Sisters is 4.8 mi/+1,328'/7.0% average gradient.    The entire Mt. Tam Loop is rated very hilly at 113 ft/mile.   Tam Loop 10/28 & 10/29   

Totally low key, ideally we ride as an informal group and the goal is to hit the Alpine Dam to Mt. Tam Strava Segment.  It's self timed.  You are competing with yourself.  Climb at a "take no prisoners" pace if you are feeling it OR whatever speed works for you.  You will be in good company.   Get your skates on!  Have a good laugh with your fellow mountain goats when you summit and then come back down and ride back to the start.
