Novato Dual Combo 65mi/35mi Multi Levels**Meet 8:15a/Roll 8:30a (Bob S, Helen, Margie)



Meet at 8:15AM/ wheels roll at 8:30AM.  The weather forecast calls for a warm day with temperatures reaching the mid 80s by the early afternoon.  Please dress accordingly, wear sunscreen and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Start Location:  Harvest Market Parking Lot, 155 San Marin Drive, Novato CA 94945

Novato Dual Combo:  B pace 65 miles/+4,400' OR AB pace 35 miles/+1,900' (plus bonus post ride spin 15 miles/+700' if you feel up to it.)

Long Option 65 miles:
Ride with Bob Smith for a moderate B pace ride to Tomales starting with a warm up climb on Wilson Hill to Chileno Valley Rd, Valley Ford Rd, Dillon Beach Rd; return on Hwy 1 along Tomales Bay to Marshall, then Marshall Petaluma Rd, Hicks Valley Rd and finally back onto Novato Blvd.  Regroups and brief stops for water/restrooms to be decided by the ride leader.

Long Option: 65 miles/+4,400


Short Option 35 miles:
Ride with Helen Kwong and Margie Baer for a social pace 12-13.9 mph overall AB oab (out and back) to the base of Marshall Wall: Novato Blvd, Hicks Valley Rd and Marshall Petaluma Rd.  We may do a side exploration to Soulejoule Reservoir on the way back depending on how the group feels.  Regroups for water/restrooms: Miwok Park on the way out and Stafford Lake Park on the return.  Additional post ride spin down (15 miles/ +700') is on the menu but only if you are feeling it.  Basically, a nice easy peasy spin out to Black Point Harbor and maybe a climb or not...and then back to Harvest Market.

Short Option: 35 miles/+1,900'
