ABOUT US

Marin Cyclists Club was founded in 1963 by a small group of cycling enthusiasts led by Ken Potter. We are primarily a road cycling club but we also host mountain and occasional gravel rides.

We encourage non members to try out a ride before joining the club.  We host an easy recovery pace ride every Sunday.   You can see upcoming rides on our homepage.   The full calendar is available when you join the club.

We ask that you please register for your first ride with us and sign a waiver.
Our recurring weekday rides are also a welcoming place to try out a first ride.  These rides are not rated for beginners.

Annual membership fee is just $35 or $45 for a family

OUR MISSION

Create a healthy cycling environment with a focus on education, training, safety and advocacy.

Put on one major cycling event annually, "The Marin Century" to raise money to enhance cycling in Marin County and our community in general.

Organize structured rides and routes to develop rider capabilities , promote cycling in general and increase safety awareness

DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION

The Marin Cyclists Club thrives on building and supporting a community of cyclists of all ages and skill levels, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and socioeconomic status. Understanding, accepting, and valuing our human differences, we strive to respect and include these differences in the spirit of friendship and community service as we ride, explore and train together in a safe and supportive environment that celebrates the joy of cycling.
