Route: Morgan Territory Route Map
Description: Lorraine Trautwein will lead a Social Pace ride (11-12.5 mph avg speed.) Moderate and Brisk Pace riders are more than welcome to join but they will ride leaderless. You are encouraged to ride at the leader's pace especially if you do not know the way. ***Morgan Territory climb is 6.5 miles, +1,300', avg 5.6% gradient*** The beginning section of the route has a lot turn cues to avoid Ygnacio Blvd.
Bring a lunch with you to eat at the top of Morgan Territory. Lorraine will hang out up there to wait for the slower climbers. Expect a 5-6 hr ride time including all stops. Bring plenty of onboard food and 2 tall bottles of liquids. Make sure your bike is in tip top shape. Bring a complete flat repair kit (CO2 or pump, extra tube and multi tool)
Regroups to be determined by the leader.
NOT A NO DROP RIDE. Not a beginner's ride.
If you ride way slower or faster than the main group you will be separated and will likely be riding on your own. Try to find a small pod who knows the way and stick together. Please review the route well in advance of the ride. Download it to your bike computer or print out a cue sheet.
