Variations of the standing weekly Saturday Fairfax to Pt Reyes Station 38 mi. An oldie but goodie, the Limantour Twist and Shout. This ride splits off at mile 5 from the standing weekly Fairfax~Pt. Reyes Station ride. Continue on Sir Francis Drake to Samuel P. Taylor Park, Bear Valley Rd then Limantour Rd for the climb of the day, +951 vf. (vertical feet) of mostly shaded climbing/5.9% average gradient for 2.8 miles. Hilly rating, +83.08 vf. It's a twist up to the top and you might shout on the descent. Please be super cautious and descend well within your abilities.

On the return after Rancho Nicasio, take Nicasio Valley Road back to Sir Francis Drake and you know the rest and drop back home to Fairfax. Regroups and stops will be determined by the ride leader.

Ride this course at the speed you like. Stop frequently or not very much. This route comes back on Lucas Valley Road for extra mileage.
