WSS-Women's Social Sunday Cookies in the Park, The Trilogy (Melissa J, Helen)
About this event
We are totally stoked about our WSS April: Cookies In The Park, The Trilogy! This is our 3rd time on this pretty East Bay/Contra Costa route. And who better to lead it than the inventor of the route herself? Melissa Jacobson of course. Won't you come along for a fun half day of riding with the girls, exploring the picturesque Carquinez shoreline, wandering through Port Costa, tucking into a meaty climb on Pig Farm Hill followed by a post ride stop at Butter Pecan Bakeshop to snack on "delicious handmade cookies that tastes like your grandma made 'em."
Meet at 9:45AM and please be ready to roll at 10:00AM.
Join us for Cookies in the Park--The Trilogy that starts at the Pinole Senior Center Building in Pinole, CA. We will putter around the Contra Costa County. Beginning along the Carquinez bayfront in a clockwise direction we pass several towns, detour at Port Costa for a photo op, continue on Carquinez Scenic Drive, then loop back via Alhambra Valley; save a little for a gradual 800' climb on Pig Farm Hill about 2/3 way through and we return via Pinole Valley Road. Let's roll steady and try to stay together as a group.
