Pace: All LEVELS welcome. Riders go at their own comfortable pace. There are usually enough riders at each level so no one rides alone.
Distance: 37 or 30
Location: Union Hotel in Occidental at 11.30 am. Ride rolls at 12 noon.
Parking: Please use the large lot behind the hotel via Minna Street. Parking lot Drop Pin
Event: Come with us up to Occidental on Sunday. Special yearly ride + dinner event that bike clubs around the Bay Area have been holding for 61 years. Two gorgeous loops to choose from, a gentle rolling 37 miler Map or the leaderless 30 miler with the Coleman Valley Rd climb Map Coleman Valley Rd.
Ride the gentle 37 miler Occidental Loop at a Social Pace. Enjoy the scenery. Then pack up your bike; grab a quick change of clothes and it's dinner time. There will be a house special group dinner menu of bruschetta, garden salad, minestrone soup, cheese tortellini with creamy pesto and ravioli. approx. $32 pp before beverage, tax and tip.
Routes: From Occidental we'll go to Monte Rio, Moscow Rd(pending, may have to use 116) south on Route 1, Bodega Bay, Bodega, Freestone, Occidental.
Optional route over Coleman Valley Rd.
Ride Leaders for the 37 mile loop: Frank Valentini and David Jeong. **30 mile Cole Valley Loop will be leaderless.
