Ride at the pace you want and regroup/stop as you wish or ride along with the leader and the main group. Small pods may form organically during the ride based on your riding speed.

ROAD: Social AB Pace Group 47 miles/+2,900' 47 miles Social Pace
Helen Kwong will be the Ride Leader for the Social AB Pace12.0-13.5 mph avg. overall speed including all climbs.
A Tempo warm up on Novato Blvd then a power Threshold effort on Marshall wall, the easier side that is. Come back on sweet Tomales Bay and get ready for the 2nd Threshold segment to Cheese Factory. A nice speedy descent back to Trailhead Cafe. Fuel up if you like. Trailhead has a large menu and an impressive selection of craft brews.
ROAD: Moderate B Pace Group 52 miles/ +3,300' 52 miles Moderate Pace
David Snaith and Juan Pommier will be the Ride leaders for the Moderate B Pace, 13.5-14.9 mph average overall speed including all climbs.
Same route as the Social Pace route with the addition of Bear Valley Road and Olema hill at mile marker 30.7 just after Pt. Reyes Station.
ROAD: Brisk C Pace Group 45 miles/ +3,600' 45 miles Brisk Pace
Calling all mountain goats out there. Earl McCowen will ride his own custom designed "Hills of Novato" course at a Brisk C Pace, Leaderless style 45 miles/+3,600'/very hilly rating of +80 vertical feet per mile.
Short and sharp climbs, this route is basically a hill intervals workout, 12 in all near Novato, including one on Rowland Blvd topping out at a crazy nosebleed 17.2% gradient. Attempt only if you want to feel the burn in your quads🤩. Here is a partial summary of the climbs:

GRAVEL: Sorry the previously scheduled Gravel route has been cancelled for tomorrow due to poor trail conditions, not suitable for riding.
