November 11 is the 4th anniversary of the opening of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge pedestrian/bike way. Come celebrate with us!
We will meet at 9:45 am and roll at 10 am to meet up with the
Save-the-Bridge Celebration by Rich City Rides at the Richmond BART station, where festivities will start at 11:11 am and end before noon.
From there, we will divide into 2 groups.
One group will ride back across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to Larkspur Landing. This will be a leisurely, no drop ride led by Warren Wells of Marin County Bicycle Coalition along with Rich City Rides on the return trip. Total miles 24, elevation gain 481 feet, no drop ride.

The second group will ride south to Oakland, take the ferry from Jack London Square to San Francisco, grab a snack at the SF Ferry Building, then ride along the Marina, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and aim north back to Larkspur. Total miles 54.2, elevation gain 1281 feet, 14-16 mph overall average moving speed on this relatively flat course.
