Marin Century Training Series - #2 -- San Geronimo to Olema (28 miles/Social/Margie)
About this event

Train with us for the Marin Century! This ride is the second of 13 weekly Sundays gradually progressing, to get you ready to ride 100 miles on August 1.
This week the distance is a little bit longer, but still manageable for beginners. We will ride a 28 mile loop around the Nicasio reservoir to Pt Reyes Station for a brief coffee break, then return. There are two climbs, Olema Hill and Nicasio Valley Road. Pace will be social to leisurely, averaging 10 - 14 mph moving speed, depending on the participants.
Road bikes with slick tires are recommended. Make sure you have at least one, full, large water bottle. There is a portable toilet at the start. We will regroup for water and bathrooms at miles 14 (Pt Reyes Station) and 24 (Nicasio).
You can come along whether you are riding the Century or not. If you missed the first ride in this series, but feel able to ride 28 miles, come along!
