Location: Old Mill Park near the restrooms, 320 Throckmorton Ave (X Olive), Mill Valley CA 94941
**Parking suggestion: park near Mill Valley Middle School 425 Sycamore Ave, Mill Valley CA 94941 and bike over to the start, 1.8 miles/7-8 mins.
Pace: Moderate pace 10-12 mph+ inclusive of all climbs Legend & Pace Rating ***This ride is for experienced riders with strong bike handling skills, long extended climbs and technical descents

Description: Roll out with Ben for a dawn patrol Around the Mountain with a stop at East Peak starting from Old Mill Park, Throckmorton X Olive. This ride is mainly our Around the Mountain ride in reverse with a long steady 2,500' ascent to Mount Tam East Peak followed by a descent on 7 Sisters, some rollies on Fairfax Bolinas past Alpine Dam, a technical descent on Bolinas Road and finally bike paths, Camino Alto and Miller Avenue back to the start. Very hilly rating, +119 vertical feet gain per mile.

NOT A NO DROP RIDE. Strenuous ride with technical descents. Not a beginner's ride.
Other pace riders welcome but should be prepared to provide their own navigation. If you ride way slower or faster than the leader you will be separated and will likely be riding on your own. Try to find a rider who knows the way and stick together. Please review the route well in advance of the ride. Download it to your bike computer or print out a cue sheet.

Registration is required
-All riders must register to ride, members and non-members
-20% or more chance of rain at noon cancels the ride
-Must wear a helmet
-Please make sure your bike is in good maintenance
-Bring spare tube(s), mini pump/C02, or tubeless repair kit as necessary
-Day time running lights are highly recommended
-Please obey all traffic rules
-Share the road, ride as far to the right as practicable
-Please download the route to your bike computer or print out a route sheet
-Respect the ride leader
