Description: Check out this mixed terrain 80% road/20% gravel ride with Ben Wishovich with a post ride lunch stop at the Depot Cafe and Bookstore in downtown Mill Valley, 87 Throckmorton Ave, Mill Valley. Warm up the legs on the good old 800 ft. Conzelman road climb up to Hawk Hill. Watch the steep swervy descent. The next little segment will be the Coastal Trail up to Battery Townsley followed by the 5 mile gravel section, an 800 ft climb on Bobcat Trail then a fast descent on Marincello Trail. The ride returns to the start then departs to Depot Cafe. For experienced riders with good bike handling skills! There are strenuous climbs and fast descents on both road and gravel terrains. At least 32cc gravel tires are recommended.
Regroups to be determined by Ride Leader, possibly Rodeo Beach, GGB parking lot and Battery Townsley.
NOT A NO DROP RIDE. Not a beginner's ride.
Other Pace riders welcome but should be prepared to provide their own navigation. If you ride way slower or faster than the main group you will be separated and will likely be riding on your own. Try to find a small pod who knows the way and stick together. Please review the route well in advance of the ride. Download it to your bike computer or print out a cue sheet.

-20% or more chance of rain at noon cancels the ride

-Please make sure your bike is in good maintenance
-Bring spare tube(s), mini pump/C02, or tubeless repair kit as necessary
-Day time running lights are highly recommended

-Share the road, ride as far to the right as practicable
