Time: Meet 9:45AM/Roll 10AM
Location: Park & Ride Lot at Alameda Del Prado 212 Alameda Del Prado, Novato CA 94949
**There is no bathroom at the Park & Ride lot. First restroom stop is at mile 9.2 Miwok Park
Pace: Leisurely Pace 10-12 mph for the entire ride. SLOW is the new fast!!
Route: Slow Sunday July-Margie's Birthday Ride
This one is special! It's Margie Baer's birthday. She is our Marin Century Ride Director, cycling BADASS and enthusiast, all-around club and Marin Century HARD worker and a cherished Marin Cyclists member. Show your LOVE by coming to the ride and/or the after celebration at Big Rock Deli map We'll have a birthday treat or 2. Start this ride at the Park and Ride lot OR time your ride from your home (coordinate with Margie if you want to ride in from the Fairfax side). The route is the classic Red Whale Route minus the Crest Road climb. We will come back to the Park & Ride Lot. You can ride an additional 3.5 miles/20 mins to Big Rock Deli or drive over and we'll see you there. Don't forget you'll have to ride another 3.5 miles back to the parking lot.
Rule: That's right there is a RULE for this ride 🥰 We ask that you ride at a Leisurely Pace, 10-12 mph for this course starting from the Park & Ride lot. First one is the rotten egg.

***If you are meeting us at Big Rock we will likely get there at about 1PM.
Regroups and stops:
There will be plenty of regroups and definitely a potty break at Miwok Park. Likely regroups at Blackpoint boat launch, Smart Trail entrance at Novato Grant Avenue and other stops deemed necessary by the ride leader.
Registration Info
Registration is required
-All riders must register to ride, members and non-members
-20% or more chance of rain at noon cancels the ride
-Must wear a helmet
-Please make sure your bike is in good maintenance
-Bring spare tube(s), mini pump/C02, or tubeless repair kit as necessary
-Day time running lights are highly recommended
-Please download the route to your bike computer or print out a route sheet
