About this event
Let's put the Spring back in our step with a Social Pace ride in Paradise with Helen Kwong. Meet 9:45AM/roll 10:00AM at Corte Madera Town Park for 26 miles/+1,550'. We'll tackle a nice workout with a good amount of short climbs, only 1 hill that is 300'; the rest are bumps. You can do it! We'd love it if you can ride together with us as a group.
Afterwards Amy's Drive Thru, friends of the Marin Century in 2023 and 2024 invites the Marin Cyclists to lunch. On this special day, purchase any item and receive a lunch entree of your choice for Free, compliments of Amy's. Get ready to try out their newly launched lunch items, NEW Buffalo Chik'n Sandwich, Crispy Chik'n Sandwich and Classic Chik'n Tenders Box in addition to their Menu of favorites: Burgers, fries, Pizzas, Mac n' Cheese, Burritos, Soups and healthy super charged Salads. Complete your meal with an old fashioned Milkshake available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry or Coffee flavor and now in orange flavor too. **Please place your order either inside the dining room or at the Drive Thru window and let the cashier/staff know that you are with the Marin Cyclists.
Our Paradise Loop will begin with the Chapman Dr climb, then Seminary Drive, Strawberry Village, optional Beach Rd climb on Belvedere Island for a photo or 2. We'll take a little detour at mile 14 and go up the hill on our left side to Mar West, meander through the twisty residential streets and it's back on Paradise Dr. We are going to take a hard left together at mile 23.1 where Paradise X San Clemente Drive to go to Amy's for lunch, 5839 Paradise Dr. Corte Madera CA 94925.
Park your bike in the back, place your order and enjoy your lunch on Amy's roomy patio with plenty of outdoor seating. Then it's a flat flat flat 3 miles, mostly on safe bike paths back to the start. Lots of turns on this route. If you don't know the way please stick to the group like glue.

Registration is required
-All riders must register to ride, members and non-members
-20% or more chance of rain at noon cancels the ride
-Must wear a helmet
-Please make sure your bike is in good maintenance
-Bring spare tube(s), mini pump/C02, or tubeless repair kit as necessary
-Day time running lights are highly recommended
-Please download the route to your bike computer or print out a route sheet
