Start Location: Trailhead Cafe parking lot at San Marin Plaza, Novato Meet at 9:20AM; Wheels roll at 9:30AM.
The Base route, 64 miles/+4,353' is leaderless. You can ride with Earl McCowen, more vigorous pace OR select the shorter option, 56 miles/+ 3,639 and ride with Helen Kwong about 13-14 mph average.
Please upload the route to your bike computer/phone or print a copy of the turn-by-turn cue sheet for yourself. Ride at the pace you want. Groupings may form organically during the ride based on your pacing. Regroup and stop as frequently as you like. MUST REGISTER TO RIDE: members and non-members.
Base Route 64 miles: Novato Blvd, Stafford Lake Park, Hicks Valley Road, Wilson Hill, Chileno Valley Rd, Tomales Petaluma Rd, Alexander Rd, Fallon Two Rock, Whitaker Bluff Rd, Valley Ford Franklin School Rd, Dillon Beach Rd, Hwy 1, Marshall, Marshall Petaluma Rd, Hicks Valley Rd, Pt Reyes Petaluma Rd and back to start on Novato Blvd.
Shorter Option 56 miles: same as above; after Chileno Valley Rd, Tomales Petaluma Rd, Hwy 1, Tomales Community Park, Marshall, Marshall Petaluma Rd, Hicks Valley Rd, Pt Reyes Petaluma Rd and back to start on Novato Blvd.
