Roll 9:45AM Sharp. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the ride to dial in your set-up.
Dirty Red Whale Ride. Light gravel. No super technical climbs or descents. Cyclocross, gravel or mountain bike tires that are at least 38cc are highly recommended. 23-25cc Road tires are not going to cut it. About 60% paved/ 40% unpaved.
The ride Leader will decide on the route. Typical destinations are Hamilton Wetlands, Pacheco Pond, Rush Creek and Bahia Trail. Social pace ride, no drop. This is not your blow all the doors off ride or a training course for the next gravel grinder race. It's a relaxed ride where you can have a conversation. The base route includes 2 gravel sections. Bring your mountain/gravel/cyclocross bike.
