Biketoberfest Shakeout Ride
The Marin County Bicycle Coalition's Annual Biketoberfest Returns!
Join us on the classic Point Reyes loop by way of Nicasio Reservoir. Enjoy the rolling hills of West Marin and scenic ranches along smooth roads with newer wide shoulder improvements. MCBC's persistent advocacy among City, County and State governmental agencies has brought significant road infrastructure improvements to many of the roads we ride in Marin County.
NOTE: There is NO CAR PARKING in and around Java Hut.
Riding to the start location is advised. If you are planning to join us at Biketoberfest after the ride there will be secure bike parking provided by MCBC.
AB pace is relaxed and conversational 12-14 mph avg. with frequent regroups and stops in Nicasio and SPT State Park for restrooms.
BC pace is a hammerfest! only one regroup in Nicasio. Drop back to the AB group if you are having trouble keeping up.
The will be no SAG services on course.
Please print your own route sheet or upload to your head unit.
Hydration and energy snacks are included at the start.
