R of S weekend, Novato to Glen Ellen


Brief orientation at 8:45am/roll out 9:00 AM. In honor of the Ride of Silence week we will observe a moment of silence during the orientation to remember precious lives lost to and injured cyclists wounded by bike-vehicle collisions. The C group route includes an optional loop back onto Warm Spring/Bennett Valley/Sonoma Mountain Road before meeting up for lunch with the B group at the Glen Ellen Grocery.
 The C group regroup points may be different. Please check with Earl, C group Ride Leader. The weather forecast will be in the 80's for Saturday. Please bring at least 2 water bottles and kindly take every opportunity to top them off. Please make sure you are in a physical condition to comfortably ride in warm/hot temperatures. Please familiarize yourself with the route. There is no sweep for this ride. Please upload the route to your head unit or print out a hard copy for yourself. And finally please make sure your bike is in good working condition. We will be on several stretches of country roads, far away from bike shops. ***The Sports Basement store will still be closed at the time of our start time; we will not be able to use their bathrooms; try Target.***
