It has been a challenging time for all of us, but this year we plan to host a ride as long as State and county officials give us the green light for an October ride. We are optimistic about the future and are in early planning stages for the Marin Century.

Join us at Stafford Lake for the 58th annual Marin Century Road Ride!

When: October 2, 2021
Where: Stafford Lake, Novato, CA
What: Beginning through advanced rides
Food: Delicious post-ride party and stocked rest stops

The Marin Century Bike Ride dates back to 1963 when a group of hardy Marin County bicyclists attempted the novel idea of organizing a 100-mile bike ride through the hills of
Marin County.

The Marin Century is organized, managed, and run entirely by volunteers. Volunteers consist of Marin Cyclists club members and members of our community. In its 58-year history, over 40,000 bike riders have enjoyed the scenery, camaraderie, food, and challenge of the group rides.

We are excited to have the ride at beautiful Stafford Lake. Stafford Lake County Park is a park in the Marin County, California parks system, managed by the Marin County Department of Parks and Open Space. The 139-acre park is located in Novato, in a classic northern California valley among grazing farmland.

Proceeds are donated to local youth, cycling, and other non-profit organizations that serve our community. We also give to organizations outside our county, like California Bicycle Coalition, San Francisco Bike Coalition, Bike East Bay, and Silicon Valley Bike Coalition. Marin Cyclists and its membership have donated over $450,000 to various organizations over the years.

With your support, we will continue to host this event and donate as much as we can to advocacy organizations.

Save the date and join us October 2, 2021!
