Biketoberfest Needs YOU!

Tuesday, September 12, 2017

BiketoberfestOur friends at MCBC will hold their annual Biketoberfest on October 14. It’s great time for anyone who likes bikes, beers, or both. And its MCBC’s most important fundraising effort of the year. If you’ve ridden your bike in Marin, there’s a pretty good chance that you’ve enjoyed the benefits of MCBC’s initiatives to foster a safe cycling environment. That’s why MBCB is asking YOU to step up to help raise resources for even more efforts to improve that environment.

Every hour you volunteer supports MCBC programs.

What kind of positions can you sign up for? How about hanging posters? Not your thing? How about setup crew, recycling helper, silent auction assistant, volunteer captain, parking lot monitor, bike parker, music assistant, crossing guard, perimeter beer monitor, ticket sales, family fun zone attendant, or event director assistant? Those are only a few of the positions available. Go claim yours here.

Many of the jobs take the form of two-hour shifts, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the event’s classic fall beer garden atmosphere and to celebrate all things bicycle. PLUS, you get some pretty nifty perks:

  • Custom MCBC t-shirt
  • Free beer ticket (must be 21 or older to use)
  • Free meal ticket
  • Knowing your efforts help improve bike access

So sign up today and help yourself—and all your cycling friends—improve our cycling venues.
